Walking/running on a treadmill influences the body’s natural movement pattern by increasing contact time, modifying pressure distribution, and reducing peak pressure under the heels and toes. You are able to move more naturally running up and down the track which is far more reflective of how you will run outside. Additionally, we can analyse your feet side-by-side on a screen unlike when filming on a treadmill which only allows one foot to be analysed at a time. The Footscan® system provides a more accurate picture of how you are moving.
