We are very excited to now be stocking the Nnormal Tomir 2.0! Nnormal is a young and exciting trail brand. It is a partnership between world-renowned mountaineer and trail runner Kilian Jornet and the family-owned footwear company Camper.
The brand’s philosophy stems around authenticity and utility to inspire people to enjoy and respect nature. All gear is designed with functionality, performance and durability in mind. Everything is designed in Mallorca but tested in Norway (NOR-way + MAL-lorca).
We currently stock the Tomir 2.0 which is a unisex shoe and Nnormal’s most versatile trail shoe. Put simply, the Tomir 2.0 has been built stronger to enable you to run longer with more cushioning.
Research has developed a shoe that is more durable and resistant than many on the market through new materials including a 360 nylon thread stitch in the midsole and anti-slip fabric laces. Enjoy a smooth and low impact run through the improved rocker and midsole geometry that contributes to longer-term comfort.
A new generation of midsole foam has been engineered specifically for trail running. The EExpure supercritical midsole foam compound sits in direct contact with your feet to increase propulsion and compression, reduce slippage and limit blisters. It is light, cushioned and helps preserve energy allowing you to run further with less effort.
One real point of difference comes from the outsole. The Vibramยฎ MEGAGRIP rubber performs on all off-road terrains from gravel and grass, sand and snow, roots and rocks to make you feel more secure to do more. A 50% thinner and 30% lighter Vibramยฎ LITEBASE outsole is also long-wearing to make it better for your pocket and the planet. Innovative new Vibramยฎ TRACTION LUG utilises a different shape of 5mm lugs to increase traction by 25% and add stability through enhancing surface area coverage by 50% and improve propulsion and braking power.ย
The upper is incredibly durable and crafted through a unique blend of monofilament polyester and TPE making it resistant to abrasion and snagging. Being stitched onto the midsole adds to the durability and the asymmetrical lacing increases overall support and reduces pressure points.
