On Friday the 4th of September, we invited Queen Square Run Club down to Kinisi Run Hub for a Saucony demo event during their weekly Doughnut Run! It was great to welcome the runners to our shop to test out four great Saucony shoes which were the Hurricane 26, Endorphin Azura, Endorphin Speed 5 and Endorphin Pro 5. A big thank you to Saucony for the amazing shoes for us to test and to Queen Square Run Club for attending!
We met at the shop at 7am which is slighter earlier than Queen Square Run Club's normal Friday morning start time and the route was slightly varied as the run started and finished at the shop. Everyone who wanted to demo the Saucony shoes was kitted out with a pair and we gave them all a brief overview of our shop, Saucony and the shoes on offer. We demoed the shoes on a social 5k run around the harbour which is what QSRC normally do on a Friday morning. After the run we returned to the shop and then headed across the road to Malago Coffee Shop for some post-run coffee and most importantly doughnuts!

Four Saucony Shoes, Four Different Experiences
One of the best things about a demo run is being able to experience different shoes side-by-side.
While all four shoes come from Saucony, they have been designed for very different purposes — from race day speed to everyday training, maximum cushioning and support.
Saucony Endorphin Pro 5
The Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 is Saucony's premium carbon-plated racing shoe, designed for runners looking to maximise their performance on race day.
For runners preparing for upcoming races, the demo was a great opportunity to experience what a dedicated racing shoe feels like compared with a conventional daily trainer.
Saucony Endorphin Speed 5
Saucony Endorphin Azura
The Saucony Endorphin Azura offers something different, providing a lightweight and responsive option for runners who want to inject some speed into their training.
It's designed as a versatile performance trainer, combining cushioning with a lively ride that makes it well suited to faster everyday running, tempo sessions and progression runs.
It sits between a traditional daily trainer and a dedicated racing shoe, making it an exciting option for runners who want a fast-feeling shoe without necessarily reaching for a plated racing shoe.
Saucony Hurricane 26
Designed for runners who prioritise cushioning and stability, the Hurricane provides a highly cushioned and supportive ride that's particularly well suited to everyday training and longer runs.
It uses Saucony's CenterPath™ Technology, which creates stability through a broad platform and raised sidewalls rather than traditional stability posts.
This makes the Hurricane a great option for runners who want plenty of protection and support while still enjoying a smooth, natural-feeling ride.
At Kinisi Run Hub, we stock various models of shoes from Saucony including the four we trialled on Monday.

Supporting Local Running Communities
One of the things we love most about running is the community that comes with it.
At Kinisi Run Hub, we're passionate about supporting local clubs and helping runners get the most out of their training, whether that's through shoe demos, workshops, talks or simply getting out for a run together.
Queen Square Run Club is a fantastic example of a club that puts community at the heart of its running and we are really pleased to be able to work alongside clubs like Queen Square Run Club and bring our expertise directly to their members.
A Huge Thank You to Queen Square Running Club
A massive thank you to everyone at Queen Square Running Club for welcoming us along on Friday and getting involved in the Saucony demo run and we hope everyone enjoyed trying the shoes, comparing the different rides and, most importantly, getting out for a run together.
