Kinisi Run Hub opened its doors in Bedminster, Bristol in August 2024. We are a Run Hub committed to providing the South West with a complete running service.
Founded by a family of runners with experience in the sport from grassroots to international level, we have one goal - to help everyone experience their best run. Kinisi is the Greek word for movement. Whether you run, jog or walk, you need to be able to move freely, unhindered and clear from distraction. That's why we get to know you as an individual before recommending the most suitable products. This will allow you to move freely and discover your best run.
Running is our passion and we recognise it involves more than product. Stay a while and chat about your training, racing, plans and ambitions. Let us help you in your running journey, whether it is signing up to a race, joining a club, locating a physiotherapist, or finding a coach.
Combining our passion, experience and knowledge, with analysis and testing, allows us to guide every runner towards their best run.
A former British internationalist and sub-4 minute miler, Jamie has the ambition and insight to create an authentic running environment accessible to everyone who moves, through harnessing his passion, knowledge, experience and love for the sport which he can share with the South West running community.
He has been coaching since 2020 and in 2023 became a certified UKA coach. Jamie has extensive knowledge and experience within the sports industry, both in the UK and in Europe, which combined with his running background, allows him to simply and honestly ensure each runner leaves confident and comfortable that they received the right advice at the right time with the right product.
A former 3:50 miler and Great Britain internationalist, Graham has a lifetime of experience within running, both as a competitor and within the sports industry. Graham worked at the German headquarters of adidas in a variety of senior roles within running, swimming, tennis and innovation.
Kinisi Run Hub will allow Graham the opportunity to spend time doing what he enjoys most in life – meeting and talking to people about running.
Raised and brought up in the Bristol area, Carole evolved from competing in the South West for Clevedon A. C. to representing Great Britain and England at World Championship level.
Carole has never lost her passion and interest in running. After her own career, she managed British women’s athletics teams including the prestigious Ekiden Relays in Japan. Later, whilst living in Germany she actively coached young athletes of all levels and abilities at the local high school for many years.
Kinisi Run Hub offers Carole the opportunity to share her love of running with new and old friends.
A member of the England Athletics Athlete Panel and former Midlands representative, Harrison has transitioned to sports media and is building a promising career in the industry.
He founded Track & Field News UK in 2020 to cover professional and amateur athletics. This led to journalism opportunities at the BBC and commentary work for England Athletics, the English Schools’ Athletics Association, the British Milers Club and Vinco.
Extending his involvement in the industry into run specialty will allow Harrison to utilise his media experience to build the online presence of Kinisi Run Hub.
A keen and enthusiastic runner, Megan grew up in Trinidad where she competed at local road and trail races. She moved to the UK to study and then relocated to Bristol where she now works full-time as an Occupational Therapist. Megan runs and exercises on a daily basis and is very connected to the Bristol running community where she regularly runs with local run groups.
Kinisi Run Hub provides Megan the opportunity to help other local runners find their passion for running and feel confident in their product choices. She often helps out in-store on weekends and at events and races in the wider Bristol area.
A committed and regular runner, Jo started running after a promise to a friend over a glass of wine. She quickly caught the running bug and over 10 years later she can often be found training for a half marathon or other local race. She enjoys a solo run to clear her head but also takes advantage of Bristol's many local run clubs to meet new people. As a dog walker and dog sitter outside of the shop, Jo is often found around the harbour exercising her own dog, Luna.
Kinisi Run Hub allows Jo to interact with people from different stages of running and help them in ways she wishes she could have been helped when she started out. She particularly enjoys meeting people at the start of their running journeys and loves how running has become such an integral way for so many people to socialise.
A dedicated CrossFitter, hiker and regular parkrunner, Nancy started running as a deliberate choice to build fitness and take control of her asthma through careful, mindful training. What began as a challenge quickly became a cornerstone of her health routine and you can often find her training for a local 10k or out with her gym's run club soaking up the community spirit that makes running in Bristol so special. As a UKIHCA-registered Health and Wellbeing Coach outside the store, empowering people to feel energised and confident in their bodies is central to everything she does.
Kinisi Run Hub allows Nancy to guide customers through those crucial early running milestones from finding a game-changing first pair of shoes to setting a new personal health goal. By listening to people's stories, Nancy helps them leave comfortable, capable and excited.
