Guide to Compression
Compression gear is designed to improve blood circulation, reduce muscle fatigue and enhance recovery.
Compression socks & sleeves
Full length compression socks help your feet as well as your legs by reducing swelling below your ankles.
Calf sleeves provide targeted compression to the calf muscles to aid performance by reducing vibrations and muscle oscillation during movement.
Arm sleeves provide similar benefits for the arms.
Why Wear Compression
Compression reduces muscle displacement, soft tissue vibrations and muscle activation associated with running impact forces.
It can help prevent injuries by providing support and stability which also maintains overall well-being during training and racing.
post-exercise
Wearing compression post-exercise has been shown to reduce perceived muscle soreness by reducing lactate dehydrogenase and improving blood flow and circulation.
Caring for your compression gear.
Always wash your socks inside out and if using a washing machine then wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Never bleach and only tumble dry on low but better to hang dry.
