On Friday the 3rd October, we invited the University of Bristol athletics, cross country and orienteering clubs for a Hylo demo evening! It was great to welcome the students to our shop to test our a new brand that places such a large focus on sustainability.

A big thank you to Hylo for providing so many shoes for us to test! As a new start-up brand, Hylo currently only have one model, the Impact, which is the shoe we demoed. Everyone who attended receive a pair to test and thoroughly enjoyed running in the shoes!

We started at the shop where everyone picked up a pair of shoes and we gave them all a brief overview of our shop, Hylo and the Impact. We demoed the shoes on a social 5k run around the harbour. After the run we returned to the shop for some post-run drinks and pizza including local beer from Bristol Beer Factory on North Street and local kombucha from Counter Culture!

At Kinisi Run Hub we stock the Hylo Impact, the shoe we trialled on the demo evening, and is proof that nature can perform. It delivers a perfect balance of cushioning and responsiveness for those everyday miles. 

The Hylo Impact incorporates a lightweight, eco-friendly design with a knitted upper made from bio-based nylon and a water-repellent DWR coating. The midsole is both responsive and stable through its geometry and medial side wall. An insole made with 20% bio-based foam offers enhanced comfort and support while the outsole, inspired by Formula 1 tyres, ensures optimal traction even in wet conditions. Ribbed laces reduce slip and increase durability. Runners of all levels will appreciate the performance, comfort and sustainable nature of this shoe.
