This shoe features Brooks’ new blend of midsole cushioning known as DNA GOLD which is their lightest, softest and highest energy-return foam yet. It contains 100% nitrogen-infused PEBA to be 11% lighter, offer 14% greater energy return and is 25% more flexible than their previous super foam DNA FLASH v2. It is athlete-tested and lab researched to propel performance.

Say hello to the GOLD standard in performance cushion by combining DNA GOLD with DNA FLASH v2 midsole foam to propel forward momentum. Underfoot traction is guaranteed due to the new RoadTack lightweight rubber outsole.

A higher stack height is paired with a SpeedVault nylon plate to increase propulsion as well as enhance protection and even promote recovery. Combine this with the curved geometry of the RapidRoll Rocker to assist heel-to-toe movement and quick turnover for quick, easy transitions. Expect comfort during any workout thanks to the airy fit of the lightweight, breathable mesh upper that locks down for an optimal fit.
