On Wednesday the 20th November, Kinisi Run Hub hosted a Compressport demo evening. We welcomed a group of runners interested in learning more about running socks, compression and other running accessories. We are very grateful to Max, the European Sales Manager, and Lee, the UK distributor, for spending an evening with us.

Everyone who attended received a free pair of Compressport Pro Marathon socks which we demoed on an easy 5k run along the Chocolate Path in Bristol. It was a very cold evening but everyone enjoyed running in the socks and commented on the noticeable difference of these high-quality socks.

After the run we had some drinks and snacks before Max gave a very interesting and informative talk starting with an overview about Compressport before outlining the importance of high-quality running socks and how to use compression gear effectively. Following this we opened the floor up to questions and everyone was highly engaged and asked some great questions!

It was particularly interesting to learn about how compression actually plays a greater role in recovery than it does in performance. There were definitely some great insight from Max that will help us all with some of those extra 1% gains!
