The Hylo Axis features a 50% bio-based Hyperbolt+™ supercritical nitrogen-injected foam combined with added bio-EVA foam to deliver extra cushion on landing and amplified push at take off. The PureGlide SP™ geometry and sculpted midsole offers a smooth heel-to-toe transition but also combines with the ESS Tech for maximum structural stability. ESS Tech is medial midsole support that functions as a structural reinforcement for the heel by enhancing rearfoot stability, improving overall fit and providing guidance throughout the gait cycle for an inherently stable ride.

The outsole is made up of 60% of Hylo's trademarked TreadLight™ natural rubber compound to displace water and increase traction. A redesigned tread pattern provides additional support at critical points during landing and roll-through. A single piece of engineered Jacquard warp knit as the upper offers an unrivaled fit as well as breathability, structure and durability. It is made from monofilament and multifilament 60% bio-based, castor bean-derived yarn that provides additional lockdown and comfort from the plush, corn-derived lining, collar and tongue.
