Two weeks of exciting runs, workshops, and community in the build-up to race day.

We’re bringing together a series of events designed to help you feel confident, prepared, and part of something bigger ahead of the Great Bristol Half Marathon & 10K on the 10th of May.

Whether you’re chasing a PB or just looking to enjoy the day, this is your chance to dial in your prep, meet other runners, and soak up the pre-race atmosphere. (Spaces are limited so please sign up following the individual sign-up links below).

Monday 27th April

Run Smart: Feet First

Foot Health Workshop

Your feet are doing all the work on race day, so it makes sense to look after them.

We’re hosting an in-store workshop with Emma Barnes, a qualified podiatrist from Footworks, to cover everything you need to know about keeping your feet healthy and race-ready. Expect practical advice on blister prevention, foot strengthening, and choosing the right socks, plus the chance to ask your own questions.

We’ll also be joined by The Feats, who will be showcasing their all-natural and science-backed active foot care products to support your training and racing.

Wednesday 29th April

Run Smart: Fuel Your Race

5k Social Run + Demos + Running Nutrition Workshop

Fuel smart, run strong.

We’ll kick things off with a social 5K run around the harbour, giving you the chance to test out your race-day setup. You’ll be able to try energy gels from Purendure, along with demo Hylo shoes and Silva hydration vests (attendees will get FREE gels*).

After the run, we’ll head back to the shop for a workshop and open Q&A with Rachel White, a sports nutritionist and endurance athlete, focused on fuelling strategies for 10K and half marathon distances.

Bitton 5k Series - Race 1/4

Race Tune-Up

Looking for a proper pre-race effort?!

We’re proud to be supporting the Bitton 5K Series organised by Bitton Road Runners, which makes for the perfect midweek tune-up in the final days before race weekend. This UKA-certified out-and-back course along a tarmac cycle path is flat and fast!

Whether you treat it as a sharpener, a confidence boost, or just a chance to run hard in a fun environment, it’s a great way to bring your training together. Sign up HERE.

Thursday 7th May

Shakeout Social: Run, Slice, Repeat

5K Social Run + Demos + Food

Time to ease off and enjoy it.

Join us for a relaxed 5K social run around Victoria Park, with the option to test out shoes from Altra and sunglasses from Goodr.

After the run, we’ll head back for pizza from Can Can Pizza and kombucha from Counter Culture, plus a Goodr prize draw. (More info soon on the Goodr prizedraw!)

Friday 8th May

Final Shakeout: Easy Miles & IPAs

5K Social Run + Demos + Drinks

One last run before race weekend.

We’ll head out for an easy 5K around the harbour, with demo shoes from Hoka and socks from Compressport (attendees will receive a FREE pair*).

Afterwards, join us back at the shop for a well-earned Clear Head IPA from Bristol Beer Factory.
