Saucony Demo Run & Running Workshop with Nailsea Running Club 👟🏃
Last Thursday, Megan and Jamie headed over to Nailsea Running Club for a special Saucony demo run followed by a running workshop delivered by Jamie.
The shoe demo gave members the opportunity to get out for a run and experience three very different shoes from Saucony's performance and training range. We brought along the Saucony Endorphin Pro 5, Endorphin Azura and Saucony Hurricane, allowing runners the chance to try each shoe for themselves and experience how different cushioning systems, technologies and shoe designs can change the feel of a run.
The running workshop was titled Feet, Footwear & Finding Your Perfect Run and focused on how biomechanics, movement analysis and modern running footwear all work together to influence comfort, efficiency and performance. We explained why no two runners move the same, busted some common footwear myths, and explored how choosing the right shoe is about much more than simply being told you're "neutral" or "overpronate."
It's always great to take our shoe fitting expertise outside the shop and work with local running clubs, and we had a fantastic evening with the Nailsea Running Club community.

About Nailsea Running Club
Nailsea Running Club is a friendly, inclusive and sociable running club based in Nailsea, North Somerset, welcoming everyone from beginners through to ultra-marathon runners.
The club meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with runs covering different distances and paces. There are also regular off-road runs exploring the North Somerset countryside, as well as Sunday and ad hoc runs, beginner courses and a range of social events throughout the year.
It's not all about training, either. Nailsea Running Club has a strong community focus, with members organising two races each year — the Ironwood Challenge 10k(ish) Trail Race and Beer & Banger 10k(ish) Road Race — as well as supporting the wider local running community through volunteering and marshalling.
It's exactly the sort of local running community that we're passionate about supporting at Kinisi Run Hub.
Three Saucony Shoes, Three Different Experiences
One of the best things about a demo run is being able to experience different shoes side-by-side.
While all three shoes come from Saucony, they have been designed for very different purposes — from race day speed to everyday training and maximum cushioning and support.

Saucony Endorphin Pro 5
The Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 is Saucony's premium carbon-plated racing shoe, designed for runners looking to maximise their performance on race day.
For Nailsea members preparing for upcoming races, the demo was a great opportunity to experience what a dedicated racing shoe feels like compared with a conventional daily trainer.
Saucony Endorphin Azura
The Saucony Endorphin Azura offers something different, providing a lightweight and responsive option for runners who want to inject some speed into their training.
It's designed as a versatile performance trainer, combining cushioning with a lively ride that makes it well suited to faster everyday running, tempo sessions and progression runs.
It sits between a traditional daily trainer and a dedicated racing shoe, making it an exciting option for runners who want a fast-feeling shoe without necessarily reaching for a carbon-plated racer.
Saucony Hurricane
Designed for runners who prioritise cushioning and stability, the Hurricane provides a highly cushioned and supportive ride that's particularly well suited to everyday training and longer runs.
It uses Saucony's CenterPath™ Technology, which creates stability through a broad platform and raised sidewalls rather than traditional stability posts.
This makes the Hurricane a great option for runners who want plenty of protection and support while still enjoying a smooth, natural-feeling ride.

Supporting Local Running Communities
One of the things we love most about running is the community that comes with it.
At Kinisi Run Hub, we're passionate about supporting local clubs and helping runners get the most out of their training, whether that's through shoe demos, workshops, talks or simply getting out for a run together.
Nailsea Running Club is a fantastic example of a club that puts community at the heart of its running. From beginner courses to competitive racing, off-road adventures and social events, there's something for runners at all levels.
We're really pleased to be able to work alongside clubs like Nailsea and bring our expertise directly to their members.
A Huge Thank You to Nailsea Running Club
A massive thank you to everyone at Nailsea Running Club for welcoming us along on Thursday and getting involved in the Saucony demo run and running workshop.
We hope everyone enjoyed trying the shoes, comparing the different rides and, most importantly, getting out for a run together. We also hope that everyone found the workshop engaging, entertaining and informative.
We're looking forward to continuing to support Nailsea Running Club and the wider local running community — and hopefully we'll be back for another event soon!
